So what was going on here?

You were asked to find a member of a well-known septet. Two things clued successful solvers in to the septet in question - the puzzle's title was "Little Help?", and the upper right corner contained the name of a certain Disney princess (see image below). Hence we were looking for one of the ("little" and "help"ful) Seven Dwarfs.

But which dwarf in particular? Well, there were six clues that had numbers in parentheses at the end:

45A) Mouselike (7) - TIMID
54A) Used a feather on, perhaps (5) - TICKLED
4D) Ill-tempered (6) - PEEVISH
9D) Like a 100-degree angle (5) - OBTUSE
36D) Battlefield first aid provider (3) - MEDIC
49D) Indicating agreement (6) - NODDING
But what did these numbers mean? None of them matched the number of letters in the corresponding answer.

It turns out that each of the answer words was a synonym for the name of a dwarf, with the number after the clue being the number of letters in that dwarf's name:

TIMID - Bashful
TICKLED - Happy
PEEVISH - Grumpy
OBTUSE - Dopey
MEDIC - Doc
NODDING - Sleepy

The one dwarf not thus represented was SNEEZY, and so "Sneezy" was this week's meta answer.
